Attorney Bedard is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University and the Quinnipiac University School of Law. While attending the Quinnipiac University School of Law, Mr. Bedard earned Distinguished Academic Achievement Awards for being first in his class in Negotiation and Sports Law. Prior to being admitted to the Connecticut Bar, Mr. Bedard interned for the Connecticut Office of the Attorney General.
Attorney Bedard is a trained mediator, having successfully completed programs in mediation through the University of Connecticut Labor Education Center and the Quinnipiac University Center on Dispute Resolution. He writes regular articles focusing on various legal issues—both nationally for Club Insider and locally for Southington Magazine.
Active within his community, Attorney Bedard has proudly served as the President of the Board of the Southington-Cheshire Community YMCA. He currently serves as a volunteer on the Concorso Ferrari & Friends Planning Committee—a group dedicated to raising funds for the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center through the annual Concorso Ferrari & Friends event. He has also served as Southington’s Assistant Town Attorney and as a volunteer for local boards including the Southington Zoning Board of Appeals and the Central Connecticut Regional Planning Agency. Attorney Bedard grew up in Southington, where he and his wife are now raising their family. When not practicing law or volunteering, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
